A Dance Education That Lasts a Lifetime

For over 65 years, Martin School of Dance & Baton has set a high standard of instruction in dancing and baton twirling within Regina.  Under the direction of our talented new owner, Lindsay Klumpp, Martin School of Dance & Baton continues to bring the high quality of training it is known for.  Driven by an inclusive, family atmosphere we strive to ensure that every student finds the pathway that best suits their dance goals.  All while preparing them for a healthy well balanced life after dance.

Our teaching staff offers a wide range of knowledge and experience to ensure your dancer is training safely with proper progressions. You may be confident the quality of dance training your child receives will be technically sound, whether they are a once a week student, or a full-time student.

Our 2022-2023 season begins Tuesday September 6th

Dance Builds Confidence

My daughter has danced competitively at Martin for the past 5 years and has been part of the Sundown Optimist Baton Group for the past two years. Her dance/twirl family has become so important to her, even at such a young age! I am a former dancer myself, and have taken part in the Studio ’53 University/Adult Advanced Tap classes the past several years, too. I look forward to this class every week! We chose Martin because of the exceptional dance/twirl training we knew we would receive and we have stayed at Martin because of the relationships and friendships that we have formed! She loves walking through the studio doors because she gets to do what she loves with her best friends! MSD provides so much more than technical dance training – dance builds confidence and self esteem, provides an outlet for both physical fitness and mental well-being, fosters a sense of independence and maturity, and nurtures friendships.

Inclusive Studio Environment

We feel so fortunate to be able to call Martin our daughter’s second home! We have been welcomed into the studio from day one and it truly has been a fantastic experience.  The quality of dance education in our opinion is second to none. The teachers and coaches of Martin and SOBG  are all extremely talented who care about their students both on and off the dance/twirling floor!  We also appreciate how inclusive the studio environment is, and how encouraging they are of their students and seem to know what each dancer/twirler needs to be the best version of themselves!

Highly Recommended

When we moved to Regina, we initially chose Martin School of Dance and Baton  because it was highly recommended by instructors at the previous studio. Now our daughter cherishes the relationships she has with her dance family and considers MSD her second home.  The wide variety of dance styles offered at Martin School of Dance and Baton Twirling is truly unique. Having the opportunity to twirl with the renown Sundown Optimist Baton Group is a privilege.

Home Away from Home

We continue at Martin because the programs, variety of classes, teachers and environment are all amazing. After 11 years Martin has truly become a home away from home.  My son strives on routine and Martin has always had a strong routine background while still having fun. Martin has changed my son’s life for the better and I couldn’t image a life without Martin.
