Instructor

Dance has always been a part of Amy’s life. Starting at the age of three she enjoyed tap and ballet, adding in various additional styles as she grew up. After assisting classes for many years she knew she wanted to become a teacher. While attending university she taught at a local studio for three years. Shortly after she decided to become certified as an ADAPT tap and jazz instructor as well as with Acrobatic Arts. She founded and directed Pointflex Dance Company in Regina for seven successful years which she chose to close with the arrival of her baby girl in 2021. After a year off to raise her daughter, Miss Amy is excited to be a part of the team at Martin and is looking forward to an excellent season with all of you!

Miss Amy’s favourite styles are tap, acro and jazz. As an instructor her exam students are known to excel and her choreography wins numerous awards. Miss Amy believes that it is never too late to start dancing, try a new style, take an exam, or become certified.

“I am thrilled to continue being inspired by my students and encouraging them to be their best both at dance and in their communities”
