SOBG Competitive Program

The Sundown Optimist Baton Group (previously known as the Sundown Optimist Buffalo Gals) was formed in 1967 as part of Canada’s Centennial Celebration, and named after Regina’s Buffalo Days Exhibition. The team remains a strong staple in the Regina Community to this day, and is provided with opportunities to perform at many events around the city throughout the year.

The SOBG students work diligently, practicing during the week and on Saturdays. The team has the opportunity to travel to many National and World Championships, and is recognized around the world. As well, two special performances at Optimist International Conventions remain a highlight to this day. Please check our SOBG page for more information.
