Musical Theatre

About Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre works on singing and acting technique and choreographs it with dance steps. Performance and competition is at the discretion of the teacher. Students will be placed in classes based on dance experience and age. It is recommended to accompany this class with a jazz or ballet class

Musical Theatre Pathways

Fundamentals and Fun

This is a low intensity program designed for the student who loves to dance without the demand or commitment of the competitive program. Children will participate in our annual recital, Danskapades.

*Tuition is per month, based on 34 classes in the dance year. Classes run from September – June

45 minute class once a week

CLASS ATTIRE

Comfortable dance clothes (no jeans)
SO499 Jazz Shoes (Bloch)- teacher will determine color
Hair – Ponytail (tied up off the face)

Competitive

This program is for the student who is looking to further develop their training at a higher intensity. Students will participate in competitions and our annual recital, Danskapades.
